About the Artist
Baby Winter brings together the ambient natured members of Groove Collective pianist / Keboardist Barney McAll and drummer Genji Siraisi combine their talents that takes their music to an aural extravaganza that will calm the senses and mellow the nerves.

This is an ambient delight. Barney McAll has worked with SIA, Daniel Merriweather, Roy Ayers to name a few.
. Barney currently performs with his own groups; ‘ASIO’ and ‘Non- Compliance Trio"’ as well as with Gary Bartz, The Josh Roseman Unit, Groove Collective &Fred Wesley.

Genji Siraisi grew up in Brooklyn, the son of a Japanese artist and an English history professor. At 13, he was the drummer for the punk band Nastyfacts, playing in NYC clubs such as Max's Kansas City, CBGB's, and ThePeppermint Lounge. Their only 45"single has become a collectors item among hard core Punk fans. In the following years he became an audio engineer and producer working in some of New York's top studios of the day including The Record Plant and Greene Street. Genji co-founded the band Groove Collective, co-producing their six albums and traveling the world on numerous tours. In the studio he has also worked with Masters at Work, Digital Underground, Indie Arie, and Bob Power. On drums he backed up Tupac for MTV Live Jams (voted #2 live rap performance for two consecutive years). For the Red Hot+ series he backed up Pharaoh Sanders, Ramsey Lewis, Digable Planets, Natalie Merchant and Duncan Sheik. He has performed live with Rahzel "the human beat box", Pharcyde, Branford Marsalis, Fred Wesley, and Bernie Worrel.
